Pinel Island also known as the yellow beach is one of my most favorite spots in St Maarten. An adventure all on its own when you begin by a wonderful boat ride where you can see all the spectacular colors of the water. As you get to the ferry terminal, you pay a round trip fee of $10 to move across. Once on Pinel, you are greeted by friendly staff and a sea of festive umbrella’s and lounge chairs with a handy little table to place your Pina Colada. This beach is wonderful for all ages as the water is so shallow. Enjoy the rest of your day by exploring the other side of the island with all the pretty shells and amazing waves or have a wonderful meal (the restaurant is available). Don’t forget before you leave stop at the boutique even if just to look what a tranquil experience. All in all Pinel Island is by far my most favorite and cherished hideaway spot. Excellent place for snorkeling & enjoy!!
